You cannot select any text
The pages may be scans or photographs. Folio does not perform OCR. Create a searchable text version with a separate OCR tool, proofread it, then upload the corrected document.
Sentences appear out of order
Columns and page furniture can confuse text extraction. Check the preview. A clean Word or TXT version may work better than the original layout-heavy PDF.
The file is rejected
Check that it is a real PDF, is no larger than 25 MB and is not encrypted. Do not simply rename another file’s extension to .pdf. Extracted text must fit within two million characters.
Equations and tables sound confusing
Audio cannot replace the visual structure of a complex table or equation. Narrate the surrounding explanation and refer back to the source for precise values and notation.
